MMR’s R&D 100 Awards

For each of the past 44 years the prestigious magazine R&D has been naming what it considers the top 100 products of the year. These “R&D 100” Awards have been called "The Oscars of Invention." It has been said that winning an R&D 100 Award “provides a mark of excellence known to industry, government, and academia as proof that the product is one of the most innovative ideas of the year.”

MMR has received not just one but two R&D 100 Awards...

In 1981, Dr. Little and his team were awarded their first R&D 100 for inventing the micro miniature refrigerator. In 2006, MMR received a second R&D 100 for its development of the innovative in-office liquid nitrogen generator, the Elan2.
